The Amazon Book Teaching Parents To Treat Autism With Bleach
Depending on how long you have followed my work, you may be aware of a substance known as MMS (Miracle Mineral Solution). MMS has been touted as a "cure" for autism. Like any supposed cure it is founded on rock ground, in this case, that autism is caused by parasitic infection. What MMS actually turns out to be is Chlorine Dioxide, a potent industrial bleach used in a range of places, but notably in the treatment of water. Parents are instructed to administer this chemical in a diluted form both by mouth and enema in order to purge the parasites from their child's system. Restrictive diets do not cure autism, its not a disease, illness or injury and to suggest its curable/ recoverable/ treatsble/ reversible is offensive, ignorant and unscientific misinformation.

Who is Kerri Rivera And What Book Is She Selling On Amazon?
Kerri Rivera's own bio has the following to say about her:

Her bio reads as snake oil salesman bingo, and somehow she hits the jackpot. All you really need to know about her is that she is an expert in pseudoscience with absolutely no reputable research to support her claims. This is perhaps why she turned to teaching parents to feed their children bleach and how she received the title of "The Bleach Queen".
Previously she has written a book called Healing The Symptoms Known As Autism in which she instructed parents on how to administer Chlorine Dioxide by mouth and by enema. Thanks to the work of Emma Dalmayne, CEO of Autistic Inclusive Meets, Aviva Seigler, and Melissa Eaton this book was removed from sale and now permanently lists as out of stock. Unfortunately, the bleach queen has followed up on her not-quite-a-bestseller with a new book, and this time she has dropped the pretense:
Please note the "D.Hom" after her name. This seems intentional as it implies she has a doctorate. A brief search of her LinkedIn profile showed she attended the Los Angeles School Of Homeopathy where she did not achieve anything close to even an undergraduate degree. The school has one course to offer, and describes it as follows:
Los Angeles School of Homeopathy offers a three-year academic curriculum comprised of Mentoring and Internship programs leading to a Diploma as a Professional Homeopath with Common Standards of Excellence and Testing. Classes are once a month and incorporating self-directed study, the student will graduate a professional Homeopath of distinction and attain the Los Angeles School of Homeopathy Diploma.
So to be clear, not only is the person telling you to feed bleach to your Autistic children not a doctor (in both the medical and academic sense), she attended a school that boasts only 36 hours of learning month, has only been offering classes since 2023, and does not appear to offer a qualification that is regulated by the US Department of Education. All of this is a really long way of saying that Kerri Rivera is a dangerous quack.
This book is on sale on Amazon for around £20.
£20 for a book promoting a fake treatment that landed Grennon family in prison (courtesy of Emma Dalmayne and co. - thanks by the way). With a legal precedent like that, it's easy to see why people are (not) lining up to buy this title. Despite it's fringe nature, chlorine dioxide abuse presents a real danger to the health and safety of Autistic children the world over.
Side Effects Of Chlorine Dioxide Consumption

WebMD gives the following warning on the side effects of Chlorine Dioxide:
...can cause serious side effects, including severe vomiting, liver failure, and death. Beware that chlorine dioxide supplements usually show another ingredient on the label (sodium chlorite).
The same web page also notes that it can damage red blood cells (you know, the things in your blood that take the oxygen literally everywhere it needs to go) and harm the gastrointestinal (GI) tract.
Children forced to consume the bleach present with a number of disturbing injuries which other users assert are signs that the treatment is working. In particular, the lining of the GI tract is passed via the anus which is then claimed is a parasite that has been killed. Images follow.
It should come as no surprise that parents in these groups are told to use fake identities to avoid being reported to Child Protective Services.
The Reality Of Chlorine Dioxide Business
The thing that disturbs me most about Rivera's book is that it represents the monetisation of abusing disabled children. It takes parental fear, horrific ableism, and terminal capitalism and creates an opportunity for profiting off of life threatening abuse.
Parents are subjected to an echo chamber in which all concerns and side effects are passed off as signs that the treatment is working. The more ill your child gets, the more CD they encourage you to give them. The images below give an insight into the protocol itself.
"As much as is feasible" sends shivers down my spine. To me this implies there is no maximum dose. It feels like something from a dystopian sci-fi horror film. But this isn't a film. This is real life, and real children whose lives are being placed at risk.
What Can You Do To Help Stop This?
Individuals don't change things like this, movements do. It is only through organised group action that we stop monsters. We as a community that sees value in all Autistic life and abhor the abuse this book will cause need to stand together. The first step is to sign the petition to have this book (see button below).
