Autistic people should not be the perpetual free educator

Autistic people, like many marginalised identities, occupy a difficult terrain. We are surrounded by a world that not only doesn’t understand, but also doesn’t seem to care much about how little it understands. As a member of the Autistic community, it’s easy to forget that most of the world doesn’t even know that Autistic culture exists, let alone the finer details of what is and isn’t useful or harmful.
